ARLINGTON, Texas — Republican Representative Lauren Boebert’s re-election committee spent thousands of dollars in campaign contributions on an outing in Arlington, Texas, according to recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings. The spending occurred during a weekend when singer Kid Rock was hosting an event at AT&T Stadium, raising questions about the use of campaign funds for personal purposes.
The FEC filings show the following expenditures by the committee, Lauren Boebert for Congress:
- $925 was spent on tickets to a show at AT&T Stadium in May 2025. This coincided with a “Rock N Rodeo” event hosted by Kid Rock ahead of the Professional Bull Riding World Finals Championship.
- $2,455 was spent at Live! By Loews, a four-star hotel located near the stadium in Arlington’s Entertainment District.
Campaign Finance Rules
The Federal Election Campaign Act strictly prohibits the use of campaign funds for personal benefit or personal use. The relationship between Ms. Boebert and Kid Rock has been a subject of media speculation, though neither has publicly confirmed a relationship.
Kid Rock, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, has frequently appeared at Republican events. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Ms. Boebert has recently been seen with real estate broker Kyle Pearcy.
