ARLINGTON — Arlington police are investigating after a 17-year-old male was shot on Saturday night in a parking lot outside a party, officials confirmed. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Officers were initially called to the 2800 block of Galleria Drive around 11 p.m. in response to reports of loud music and underage drinking. As they arrived at the scene, police heard gunshots coming from a parking lot located just west of the event. Upon investigating, they found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound.
