4 things to do in Arlington this weekend

Weekend & Community Events Saturday Guide • October 10

This Saturday is completely packed in Arlington. The lineup brings two big daytime festivals for the whole family, followed by two very different nights of live music across the city. All in town, all this weekend.

River Legacy Fall Festival Arlington

The beloved fall tradition is back, and the nature center is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Expect the full spread: pumpkin patch, bounce houses, climbing wall, live animal encounters, guided nature hikes, live music, and plenty of fair food.

Proceeds directly support environmental education at River Legacy, making it a vital community fundraiser disguised as a perfect fall Saturday.

Why Go A milestone 30th anniversary outdoor celebration for all ages that pairs festive family fun with conservation education in Arlington’s signature nature park.

Texas Masonic Family Day Arlington

Texas Masonic Family Day Arlington

A different kind of Saturday in the shady pecan orchard off Division Street. Billed as the largest gathering of Texas Masons in the state, featuring more than 100 vendors, children’s games, live music, delicious food, plus a Texas Masonic BBQ competition and a classic car and motorcycle show.

It is free to get in and easy to spend the whole afternoon browsing booths, admiring classic rides, and sampling barbecue. Please note that pets are not permitted on the grounds for this event.

Why Go Over 100 vendors, a massive barbecue competition, classic cars and bikes, and free admission beneath shaded pecan trees.

Tom Sless and Turbo live at Levitt Pavilion

Tom Sless and Turbo live at Levitt Pavilion

Downtown Arlington gets another free night of live music under the stars. La Bell, a Dallas-based hip-hop and R&B artist and KXT radio DJ, takes the stage at 7:30 PM, followed by Tom Sless & Turbo delivering high-energy roots rock at 8:30 PM.

Bring a blanket, pack your favorite lawn chairs and cooler, and grab your spot on the grass across from City Hall.

Why Go Two dynamic acts, an open downtown lawn, and zero ticket cost under the autumn sky.

Sixtiesmania at Arlington Music Hall

Sixtiesmania at Arlington Music Hall

Direct from Las Vegas, this is the full 1960s tribute production: vintage instruments, custom-tailored suits from England, costume changes, and a multimedia backdrop covering the Beach Boys through the British Invasion, Woodstock, and Flower Power.

If the Levitt lawn is not your speed, this is the premier ticketed night out, comfortably indoors in the historic Arlington Music Hall.

Why Go A world-class Las Vegas tribute spectacle celebrating the greatest rock, pop, and soul hits of the 1960s with full period authenticity.
