One passenger was hospitalized Monday evening following a multi-car chain-reaction collision involving six vehicles along northbound State Highway 360 in Arlington, according to police officials. The crash occurred during the evening commute just north of Interstate 30 after an unidentified driver struck two vehicles and fled the scene.

Officers with the Arlington Police Department were dispatched to the highway corridor at approximately 5:35 p.m. Upon arrival, first responders located five of the six involved vehicles still disabled at the scene.

Initial Impact and Fleeing Driver Witnesses reported to investigators that the driver of an unknown vehicle struck both an 18-wheeler and a 2023 Ford Escape, initiating a rapid domino-effect pile-up before continuing northbound without stopping.
