The Arlington MLK Four-Day Celebration Committee is set to host the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. “Advancing the Dream” Celebration from January 16–19, 2026. This year’s theme, “Advancing the Dream: A Journey Toward Unity,” focuses on community action and cultural excellence.
The event features a prestigious lineup, including keynote speaker Dr. Tomikia P. LeGrande, President & CEO of Prairie View A&M University, and emcee Vince Sims from NBC 5 (KXAS).

The Historical Timeline Exhibit
A unique feature of this four-day celebration is the MLK Historical Timeline Exhibit. Provided in part by Tarrant County College, this traveling exhibit will be on display at every event, offering attendees a deep dive into the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. King’s specific impact on North Texas.
